Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter is going to organize the 'Nepal Sales Mission-2022' event on Shrawan 16, i.e. August 1, in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.
With the aim of supporting the tourism revival campaign after the covid pandemic, the tourism promotion sales mission is going to be organized. PATA Nepal informed that 15 members of 20 tourism businessmen and professionals affiliated with PATA Nepal Chapter from Nepal will participate in the sales mission to be held at the Rembrandt Hotel in Bangkok in collaboration with the national flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation (Nepal Airlines), Thai Travel Agents Association, SS Group Thailand and Jawalakhel Group of Industries. In addition, more than 40 Thai travel agents and tour operators, media and stakeholders related to Thailand tourism will also participate.
According to PATA, Nepali Ambassador to Thailand Ganesh Prasad Dhakal will be the chief guest of the Nepal Sales Mission and Liz Ortigera, CEO of PATA International, will participate as a special guest and keynote speaker.
Bibhuti Chand Thakur, President of PATA Nepal Chapter, said that the Nepal Sales Mission will be an excellent platform to further highlight the tourism potential between Thailand and Nepal, a large market for intelligent tourism, and to promote new opportunities in an environment where Gautam Buddha International Airport is already commercially operational.
Similarly, the Nepali delegation will also participate in the 'Sixth PATA Destination Marketing Forum' to be held in Songkhla, Thailand from August 2 to 4, according to PATA Nepal's statement.
