Famous singer Raju Lama has given a performance at a height of 6574 meters. His performance took place between Camps 2 and 3 of Mount Everest.
Artist Lama aims to climb Mt. Everest this time. He had reached the base camp of Everest a few days ago and had started the necessary exercises.
Lama, who is a member of the Mongolian Heart Band, said that the musical performance was a great success but it was not easy. The wind was a challenge during the program. Artist Lama explains it to probably be a performance done in the highest altitude.
The core mission of performing at such a height was to raise awareness about climate change and its impact on daily life around the world.
Artist Lama said, “We humans are 100% responsible for this. But it is a fact that we can contribute to the fight against global warming and climate change. Every task, no matter how small, matters. Let's work today so that we can leave this beautiful planet for our children and their grandchildren”.
Singer Raju Lama, who has sung various popular songs, had recently become famous as the judge of a television reality show called Voice of Nepal.
