The Nepal Tourism Board has decided to operate shuttle bus service for the convenience of tourists during the election. The shuttle bus will be operated in Kathmandu on the day of local level election on May 13, keeping in mind the inconvenience that may occur between the airport and the hotel.
The Board, in collaboration with the Tourist Bus Association of Nepal and the Nepal Tourist Vehicle Association, in collaboration with the Tourist Police, is operating shuttle buses on various routes from Tribhuvan International Airport to various hotels and hotels.
According to the board, Route No. 1 will travel from Airport via Nepal Airlines Corporation, Hotel Annapurna, Hotel Yak & Yeti, Thamel Chowk, Lanchaur Chowk, Shankar Hotel to Airport, Route No. 2 from Airport to Hotel Yadison, Hotel Sangrila, Narayangopal Chowk, Maharajgunj Chowk, Hyatt Hotel and again to the airport through Chawhil.
Route No. 3 from the airport to the airport via Tinkune Chowk, Hotel Everest, Maitighar Chowk, Hotel Himalayan, Hotel Solti, Grand Hotel. The board has stated that tourists have to pay Rs. 300 to the concerned bus owners for providing shuttle bus service.
