NEPSE index up by 6 points today

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has shown modest improvement today. NEPSE has been increased by 6.16 points to 2,646.84 points.

Today, 12 million 81 thousand 606 shares of 305 companies were bought and sold 66 thousand 626 times, resulting in a transaction worth Rs 5 billion 384 million 672 thousand 295.

In today’s trading, the banking group decreased by 0.27, the hotel and tourism group decreased by 0.04, the production and processing group decreased by 0.25 and the other group decreased by 0.18 percent.

While the sub-index of the investment group remained stable, the sub-indexes of other groups increased. The finance group increased the most by 2.65 percent. Development Bank increased by 0.80 percent, Hydropower by 0.42 percent, Life Insurance by 0.67 percent, Microfinance by 0.44 percent, Mutual Fund by 0.35 percent, Non-Life Insurance by 0.42 percent and Business Group by 0.59 percent.

The share price of Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited and Ngadi Hydropower Limited has entered a positive circuit, while the share price of Atmanirbhar Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Dolti Power Company Limited has entered a negative circuit.
