Police have taken action against a call center located in Tinkune, Kathmandu. Action has been taken against Sky World Service Center for illegally employing workers as a call center. There, some individuals have been prosecuted for engaging in disorderly activities in society by intimidation, threats, hacking personal privacy, and extorting money through various types of information technology. Some people have been arrested by the police team and are being investigated.
It has been said that the District Police Office Kathmandu has completed the investigation work on the call center and submitted the investigation report to the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Kathmandu.
By the order of the Kathmandu District Court, seven people have been sent to Jagannathdebal Sundhara Central Jail for remand.
