KATHMANDU: The Babarmahal area has been flooded following a burst in the Melamchi drinking water pipe.

Water has flooded the ground floor of both the Special Court and the Kathmandu District Court buildings.

As a precaution, all documents and computers from the ground floor of the Special Court have been relocated to the upper floors.

Consequently, all hearings scheduled for Wednesday have been postponed.

Additionally, the left lane from Bijuli Bazaar to Babarmahal is currently closed due to the flooding.
