The police raided a fake liquor factory in Kathmandu and arrested 5 members of a gang, involved in the production and distribution of alcohol.
On the basis of the special information, that different brands of fake liquor are being distributed in Koteshwar, a police team was immediately mobilized and 4 cartons of liquor of different brands (Double Black Label, Black Label and Jack Daniels) were found and seized from the room, belonging to a person named Hari oli.
3 other people involved in the production, distribution, storage and sale of the liquor have also been arrested.
Another raid was also conducted in a factory, in Changunarayan Duwakot, Bhaktapur for manufacturing fake liquor and various materials used for its production were also seized.
Hari oli from Koteshwar, Bhagwan Basnet from Bhaktapur Changunarayan, Vishal oli from Kathmandu Mahabuddha, Manoj Khatri from Mulpani and Gopi Shrestha from Thamel.
