Fire breaks out at Nebico Biscuit Factory in Balaju Indusrial Area

A fire broke out at the Nebico Biscuit Factory in the Balaju Industrial area in Kathmandu.

The fire that started at 2:00 am on Saturday is yet to come under control. Spokesperson of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Range, Superintendent of Police Ramesh Kumar Basnet said that fire engines and helicopters are being used to douse the fire.

Efforts are being made to extinguish the fire from all sides, industry covers a large area.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
