Police on Tuesday afternoon apprehended four people who were involved in gambling activity in Yadav Malla's house at Thamel in Kathmandu Metropolitan-26.
One of the arrested has been identified as Krishna Bahadur Lamsal (60), resident of Nilakantha Municipality-11 in Dhading while the names of the other three have not been disclosed.
Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from Lainchaur-based Metropolitan Police Circle arrested them. They also recovered Rs 191,150 as stake money and five decks of cards from their possession.
Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
