The free health clinic, which has been operating since 18 months ago, has been expanded and started free health services including daily health check-ups and medicine distribution at Kharipati, on the border of Ward No. 5 and 6 of Changunarayan.

After seeing that many people are deprived of even the poor and general health services, the foundation established by Rajaram Khadka, a social worker, businessman and Nepali Congress leader, in memory of his late mother Jhankkumari Khadka, has started free health services with the aim of providing easy access to free health services for the local residents.

Announcing that the free health services will never be stopped, Khadka, the president of the foundation, said, "I have seen many people suffering without getting regular medical treatment, so that no one should get sick without getting medicine, and should not lose their lives. For the past one and a half years, we have been conducting free health check-ups for the residents of Changunarayan, now we have expanded this service and started distributing free health services and medicines.

He said that from now on, health services and medicines will be distributed free of charge, and he said that he aims to expand the service by installing various health equipment. Calling for help for the needy, he said that Santosh Bhattarai has announced to provide medicines worth Rs 150,000 for free.

Chairman Khadka urged not to see this organization as an organization of the Congress and asked everyone to see it as a health organization for all the people here and serve all the people. Nepali Congress Bhaktapur District President Durba Thapa inaugurated the free healthcare and medicine distribution. He discussed that it is a happy thing that the work done by the state is being carried out in memory of his mother and said that common citizens will benefit from free health services.

Similarly, regarding the free services, Krishnalal Bhandel, Minister of Physical Infrastructure of Bagmati Province, expressing his happiness that free health services have been started for everyone, said that when taking health services, everyone should be served, regardless of whether they belong to Congress, UML or other parties.

Bagmati State Minister of Industry and Commerce Rajni Joshi, Central Member of Congress Rama Paudel, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Chief of Changunarayan Municipality Jeevan Khatri, Foundation Secretary Yadav Adhikari and others said that the role of such an organization will be important in making health services accessible to the masses.
