KATHMANDU: Just weeks after a Melamchi water pipe burst in Babarmahal, another rupture has occurred in Thapathali.

The incident took place on Tuesday morning in Thapathali, with a video circulating on social media showing water flooding Bani Road.

As a result, the road has been blocked. The cause of the rupture remains unknown, and the road leading to Norvic Hospital via Thapathali Chowk is currently closed.

Earlier, a similar incident occurred in Babarmahal on Magh 30, when a water pipe burst while a technical team from the Nepal Electricity Authority was drilling.
