Newly appointed minister Birendra Prasad Mahato has taken the oath of office and secrecy before President Ram Chandra Paudel. He took the oath in a program organized today at the President’s residence Sital Niwas.
In the same ceremony, the newly appointed Minister of State Pramila Kumari took the oath of office and secrecy before Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Newly appointed ministers have taken oaths from President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
Ministers from CPN-UML, CPN-Maoist Center, National Independent Party, and National Democratic Party took the oath. Rashtriya Prajatnatra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden has taken oath as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Water Resources.
Rekha Sharma has become the Minister of Information, Communication, and Technology and Aman Lal Modi has become the Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration from Maoists. Similarly, Sudan Kirati has become the Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation and Sushila Sripali has become the Minister of State for Physical Infrastructure.
Dr. Bimala Rai Poudel from CPN UML has become the Foreign Minister. Among other ministers, Padam Giri has become the Health Minister. Bhagwati Chaudhary and Hari Upreti have been appointed ministers from that party.
Vice President Bikram Pandey is the Minister of Urban Development from RPP and Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan is the Minister of Law. Deepak Singh has become the Minister of State for Energy from RPP.
Dol Prasad Aryal and Shishir Khanal have been appointed as Ministers of Education and Labor from the National Independent Party. Similarly, Tosima Karki has become the Minister of State for Health and Population.
On Monday, the four newly-appointed ministers have taken an oath of office and secrecy before President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the Office of the President. Among the ministers to be sworn in are Jeevan Ram Shrestha, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Metmani Chaudhary for Urban Development, Sher Bahadur Kunwar for Labor, Employment, and Social Security, and Bhawani Prasad Khapung for Health and Population.
Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Speaker of the House of Representatives Agni Prasad Sapkota, and others were present on occasion.
