President Bidya Devi Bhandari has been admitted to Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) after suffering from a fever.
Personal Secretary of President Bhandari, Bhesh Raj Adhikari, told the Rastriya Samachar Samiti that she had been admitted to the hospital for a check-up after she complained of health issues.
He said, "The President is undergoing a health check-up at the TU Teaching Hospital. Viral fever has been suspected."
President Bhandari is suffering from a common cold and fever since Friday, shared Adhikari.
