The government has arranged entry of rental vehicles inside the Singha Durbar – the main administrative complex of the country.
Minister for Labour, Employment, and Social Security, Dol Prasad Aryal shared that the arrangement was made for people with disabilities to easily enter the Singha Durbar Complex.
Earlier, the government, private, diplomatic, and tourist vehicles were permitted entry inside the country's central administrative building. Taking into the moderation of security sensitivities, the government had been restricting the entrance of vehicle-on-rent into the Singha Durbar.
"The arrangement was made in coordination with the Home Ministry so atoe the entrance of the people with disabilities to Singha Durbar. It will come to effect from tomorrow", Minister Aryal said.
He further informed that security personnel would facilitate the entrance of the vehicles carrying PWDs based on the state-provided identity cards.
