Republic Day cultural event organized

A Republic Day cultural event was organized on Tuesday evening on Republic Day, 2080.

The event organized by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation featured a play, poetry recitation, dance, and songs.

The function was attended by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, DPM and Defense Ministry Purna Bahadur Khadka, DPM and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, former prime ministers, ministers, chiefs of the diplomatic missions and high-level officials of the government.

On the occasion, Minister for Tourism Sudan Kirati said it is time to institutionalize the republic. He also warned everyone to be aware of the elements that try to foil the republic system.

Minister Kirati reminded the government's commitment to build a corruption-free society and prosperous Nepal.
