Two held with red panda skin from Chamati in Kathmandu

Police arrested two youths with a red panda skin from Chamati in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15.

The arrested have been identified as Umesh Bishunkhe (24) of Dorambha Rural Municipality-5 in Ramechhap district and Arjun Magrati (25) of Tamakoshi Rural Municipality-1 in Dolakha district.

Acting on a tip-off, Swoyambhu-based Metropolitan Police Circle (MPC) nabbed them with the skin from Bishnumati Corridor on Friday afternoon.

They will tried under National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act (2029) and further investigation into the case is underway, informed MPC.
