KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane will remain in judicial custody for at least two more days.

After the detention hearing was not completed on Monday, the bench of Kathmandu District Court Judge Madhav Adhikari ordered Lamichhane to be sent to custody.

A case was registered against Lamichhane in the fraud of Kathmandu’s Swarna Laxmi Cooperative. He appeared in court on Sunday morning. Lamichhane, who was released on bail by the Kaski District Court.

The Kaski District Court had ordered Lamichhane to be released on bail of Rs 6.5 million in the Surya Darshan Cooperative fraud case. He was released from custody after 84 days with the court order.
