BANGKOK: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is addressing the sixth Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Summit in Thailand today.

Representatives from other BIMSTEC member countries are also scheduled to deliver their addresses during the event.

The summit will begin with the signing of the ‘BIMSTEC Maritime Transport Cooperation’ agreement, with Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra presenting the agenda after her welcome speech.

Following her address, the delegations from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Sri Lanka will take turns speaking. After the agenda discussion, Prime Minister Shinawatra will hold a press conference.
