Actor Paul Shah is in jail for raping a minor. His case is ongoing in Tanahun District Court, while the Nawalpur Court has convicted him in the case of child sexual abuse and sentenced him to two and a half years in prison.
He has appealed to the Pokhara High Court against the decision of the Nawalpur District Court. The Tanahun District Court has fixed the payment on the 25th of November. His lawyer Kamalamohan Wagle informed that there is a possibility that the verdict will come on the same day.
His relatives, friends, and film crews come to meet Paul who is in Tanahun jail now. Filmmaker Kiran Nepali also reached the jail to meet Paul on Sunday.
Producer Nepali informed that they had a film and a general conversation. He also said that Paul is currently reading scripts for three films while in prison. Kiran also said that if he is released, he will take him in the second sequel of his upcoming film 'Dui Nambari'. "I have said that I will take Palji in the sequel of two numbers," he said.
He said that initially, he will make a film called 'Hattichhap' and then move on to other projects. He said that Paul was also training physically in a gym inside the prison.
Paul was previously signed for Kiran's film 'Dui Nambari'. But after the trial, Saugat Malla was replaced by him.
