Various programmes were organised in the capital city to mark the 71st Democracy Day today. President, Prime Minister, ministers, security agencies' chiefs and high ranking government officials participated in the programme organised to mark the day at Army Pavillion in Tundikhel, Kathmandu. The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and the Nepal Academy also jointly organised a cultural programme to mark the 71st Democracy Day.
