Free health care to senior citizens in Banke

 Khajura Municipality chairman Kismat Kumar Kakshapati informed that free health service will be operational from Monday.

He said that the village municipality has made special investment in health so that no citizen would be deprived of health services. 

He said that the program started from Ward No. 2 Sitapur would end on April 11 at Sonpur Health Post. A team including senior doctor Prakash Nag of Nepalgunj has been checking the health of the senior citizens. Most of the 168 senior citizens examined on Monday had high blood pressure and diabetes, said Poudel.
