Five people died on the spot when a bus met an accident along the Mid-hills Highway at Kuibhirdanda, Phikal Rural Municipality-4 this morning.
The bus was heading towards Kathmandu from Okhaldhunga. The cause of the accident is said to be brake failure.
Nineteen people sustained injuries and they have been taken to the hospital at Khurkot, the District Police Office, Sindhuli said. Detailed information on the accident is awaited.
