CPN (UML) Banke has taken action against nine people at different levels for not giving up their candidature.

District committee members Vijay Chand of Baijnath-1, Vikas Kaucha Magar of Khajura-3, Padam Oli of Raptisonari-1, former district committee member Khumananda Kafle of Nepalgunj Municipal Corporation-10 and ward committee chairperson Janaki. UML Banke Chairman Kismat Kumar Kaksapati informed that action has been taken against Hiraman Shrestha of Khajura-6, a member of the Municipal Committee of Matrika Burma-5.

 Action has been taken against Ramjan Ansari, vice-chairman of Nepalgunj-5 ward committee, Madan Raj Sharma, ward committee member of Nepalgunj-6 and Hitesh Bharti, ward committee member of Nepalgunj-6.
