Vyas Municipality of Tanahun has entered into an agreement with Adikavi Bhanubhakta Campus for data entry of landless Dalits, landless squatters, and unorganized residents.
The municipality has entered into a bilateral agreement with the campus located in Vyas-1 Bhadgaon for the data entry of registered landless Dalits, landless squatters, and unorganized residents in all 14 wards.
Hariram Nagila, the chief administrative officer of the municipality, informed that since the municipality has less manpower and it takes a lot of time to enter the data. An agreement has been reached for the data entry using technology-friendly manpower.
Since the municipality has collected applications in all the wards, the copies of application registrations for Vyas 1, 2, and 3 have already been distributed. About 5,500 statistics of the remaining wards are yet to be entered.
He informed that the number of data is high and since the municipality has only three manpower for that, they are going to advance the work by making a bilateral agreement to speed up the process.
"With the current workforce, only 20-25 entries are made per person per day. It was estimated that it would take at least one year to work like that", he said. "Since the work cannot be done on time, we are going to use the manpower of Adikavi by making an agreement to complete the entry work quickly."
Adikavi Bhanubhakta Campus is going to use students to enter the data. . An agreement has been reached that the municipality will pay Rs 40 per file that is submitted. "It has been seen that the students studying in Adikavi Bhanubhakta Campus will also receive support for their studies", said Nagila, the administrative officer. "It is said that a student can upload 30-35 daily", he added.
Nagila informed that the aim is to give red parts as soon as possible after completing the data entry within a month.
