Bharatpur provides monthly assistance to bereaved families

The Bharatpur Municipal Corporation of Chitwan has started providing monthly financial assistance to the families of martyrs and missing persons in the People's War, People's Movement, and Madhes Movement.

Renu Dahal, chief of the metropolis, said that the government has started providing Rs. In a special program today, the corporation has provided a lump sum of Rs. For the first time in Nepal, the corporation has started providing financial assistance to the families of martyrs and missing persons, said Chief Dahal.

He said that the goal is to continue this program in the coming days and increase this amount. Metropolitan Chief Dahal said that the program was launched for the first time at the local level in Nepal with the objective of providing some ointment to the families of the victims.

He said that this work was started in honor of the families who lost their families in every movement to bring change to the country. The metropolis had included financial assistance to the families of the missing, injured, and martyrs in its policy and program.

The Bharatpur Municipal Corporation has also honored 60 people with cash today. The metropolis had issued a notice last November demanding the application along with the required documents for the permanent residents. There are more than 600 injured, martyred, and missing families in the district.
