The newly appointed Bhatta admitted to Pashupatinath temple

The Pashupati Area Development Fund formally admitted the newly appointed Bhatta of Pashupatinath, B.S Binaya Adiga to the main temple of Pashupatinath today.

Bhatta Adiga, who duly entered the Pashupatinath temple, was given Diksha by the Main Bhatta of Pashupatinathऽ, Ganesh Bhatta.

The newly appointed Bhatta entered the temple according to the rituals of Pashupati temple.

After the appointment, Bhatta Adiga stayed in secret for five days.

Adiga from a Brahmin family in South India was appointed as the priest of Pashupatinath.

Ramakanta Bhatta, the priest of Pashupatinath, had resigned about four months ago citing health reasons.
