Bus coming from Jomsom to Pokhara falls in Kaligandaki

17 people, including 2 Indians, were injured when a Mustang bus left for Pokhara from Jomsom fell in Kaligandaki.

The jeep fell off the road in Kaligandaki at a place called Dhampu in Thasang Rural Municipality of Mustang. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rabindranath Paudel informed that when bus No. 7K 7440 fell into Badi, all the occupants of the bus were injured and the condition of 2 persons was critical. The bus fell down about 45 meters.

Paudel says that the bus fell directly into the water and as the police officer was nearby, there was no major damage due to the quick rescue.

Paudel informed that 14 people, including 2 seriously injured people, have been sent to Pokhara by ambulance for further treatment, while the remaining three people with minor injuries are being treated at Leyte Primary Health Center located in Thasang-3.
