Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane's case is being heard in Patan High Court. The appeal case of cricketer Lamichhane, who is in pre-trial detention on rape charges, has been assigned to the joint bench of Judges Subhash Paudel and Kiran Kumar Pokharel.
On Thursday, the case of Lamichhane's appeal came up in the joint bench of Patan judges Paudel and Pokharel.
The Kathmandu District Court had ordered the submission of evidence in the coercion case against Lamichhane. Kathmandu District Court Judge Himlal Belbase's bench heard the case and ordered to submit all the evidence.
Based on the complaint given by a teenage girl, the government filed a rape case against Sandeep in the Kathmandu District Court based on the police report.
