Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal argued that the country's development and transformation were not possible until the rights and welfare of the working-class people were guaranteed.

While expressing best wishes on the occasion of the International Labor Day today, the former Prime Minister emphasized respect and dignity of labor from all sides for the making of a socialism-oriented economy.

In his message, Chairman Nepal also claimed that his party was the true successor of the Nepal Communist Party (CPN) which was established with the commitment to give leadership to the working-class people's struggle. Chairman Nepal has expressed his commitment to establishing norms and values of democracy and safeguarding the interests of working-class people by struggling against the exploitation, suppression, and totalitarianism of Nepali society.

Nepal drew the government's attention to ensure proper wages, social security, and participation of working-class people in the policymaking and end all sorts of discrimination to ensure direct relief in the lives of laborers.
