Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Sudan Kirati said the incumbent coalition government would run for five years based on the consensus forged among the coalition partners.

At a press meet organized by the Press Centre Nepal's Morang chapter here Sunday, Minister Kirati claimed that the incumbent government would abide by the consensus and continue till the full five-year term. According to him, the Nepali citizens had been rejecting the activities that tend to instigate ethnic conflict. We should not interfere with others' culture while observing ours, he stressed.

Minister Kirati reaffirmed that the anti-corruption campaign spearheaded by the incumbent government would not stop, and assured that the culprits will be prosecuted.

On a different note, he informed that a proposal seeking full operation of the Gautam Buddha International Airport and the Pokhara International Airport in the PPP model would be sent to the Council of Ministers very soon. He also shared that the NAC, under the corporate social responsibility, was going to procure three small aircrafts to be flown to rural areas for easy transportation.

About the controversies courting Lyarkal Lama's appointment at Lumbini Development Trust as its Vice-Chairman, the Minister argued that Lama's appointment was legitimate since he was not found at fault and matters relating to his appointment were deliberately made controversial.
