One person has died in a truck crash in Jhapa. The deceased has been identified as Tanka Kafle, 52, of Birtamod-4, according to the District Traffic Police Office.
A truck parked on the road south of Ramchowk hit a pedestrian while pulling out of the road. According to the police, the truck hit the pedestrian while pulling out on the road. Kafle, who was critically injured in the truck crash, died on the way to Birta City Hospital, police said.
