The Election Commission has banned the use of cameras, mobile phones and other prohibited items in polling stations during the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections. This is mentioned in the four point directive of the commission.
"If someone takes a photo camera or mobile phone with them to the polling station, they will immediately inform the public that such a camera or mobile phone will be confiscated," the commission said.
