Educational materials have been provided to tens school in Tamkemayung on the initiative of the former Inspector General of Police Durja Kumar Rai.
Clothes have also been distributed to the students studying in grade 1. The village municipality has stated that educational materials have been distributed to the students of the community school from grade 1 to grade 12.
Similarly, 70 students of grade 1 have been given educational materials including copies and pens. Similarly, six computers have been distributed at Annapurna Bagdhan Randeep Rai Secondary School. The materials were distributed on the initiative of former students of the school and former Inspector General of Police Rai with the help of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu West and Krishnalaxmi Laxmi Shrestha Foundation, Kathmandu, said Shardabhakta Ranjit, President of Rotary Club Kathmandu West.
Village Municipality Chairman Dhruvaraj Rai said that the municipality is working by preparing policies and programs for educational development. Chairman Rai said, "We are prioritizing educational development here. We are working with the aim of providing an environment where the students from here can compete with the students of other schools in the country.”
