Hydropower access tunnel completed in Lamjung

Excavation of the access tunnel to reach the power plant of the 40.27 MW Super Nyadi hydroelectric projects under construction in Lamjung has been completed. The work of digging the 387-meter access tunnel to reach the power plant of the project being constructed by Siuri Nyadi Jalvidyut Hydro Power Company has been completed.

The project coordinator Yagya Prasad Subedi informed that the digging of the access tunnel to reach the main structure of the project has been completed.

The 7 km long access road to the dam and the access tunnel leading to the power house, which is a complex task of the project, have been completed.

30 percent of the construction has been completed and all areas of the project are said to be working.
