Lalita Niwas case: 18 people detained for three more days

The court allowed those arrested in the Lalita residence case to be detained for three more days for investigation.

Kathmandu District Court Judge Deepak Dhakal allowed 18 people, including the owner of Bhatbhateni Super Market, Meen Bahadur Gurung, to be detained for three more days for investigation.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police asked for an extension after the deadline.

Meen Bahadur Gurung, former Election Commissioner Sudhir Kumar Shah, Gopal Karki, Shivji Bhattarai, Ghamankumari Karki, Baburaja Maharjan, Devnarayan Maharjan, Dhruvprasad Aryal, Yograj Poudel, Narayandas Mishra, Rudraprasad Shrestha, Balkrishna Shrestha, Vinod Paudel, Keshav Tuladhar, Arun Kumar Shrestha, Kaladhar Deuja, Sanjay Maharjan and Saklanand Maharjan are in custody.
