District Police Office Makwanpur informed today that the night bus service going from the east to Kathmandu was not allowed to go to Kathmandu from Tribhuvan Rajpath after the Chitwan-Muglin road section was blocked due to landslides caused by continuous rain.
Taking into account the safety of passengers due to the narrowness of the Rajpath, arrangements have been made to keep them in a waiting queue at Hetauda until the Muglin road is operational, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Tek Bahadur Karki, spokesperson of the District Police Office.
He said that considering the needs of the buses coming from the east and the west, about 35 buses have been allowed to go to Kathmandu via Tribhuvan Rajpath. Spokesperson Karki said that the police of Dhading's Noubise said that the buses that left East and West from Kathmandu this morning were prohibited from operating from Tribhuvan Rajpath and only mini trucks, trucks and vehicles coming from Palung were allowed to operate.
