Preparations have been made to count the votes of Pokhara Metropolitan City today. An all-party meeting was called by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer at 7.30 am for the counting of votes, said Rudra Neupane, Information Officer at the Election Office, Kaski.
He said that the counting of votes would be done from the office of the Chief Election Officer and the hall of the District Coordination Committee. According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, the counting of votes will take place after the all-party meeting.
There were a total of 207,712 voters and 67 percent of the votes were cast in Friday's election in Pokhara, the largest metropolis in the country in terms of geography.
