KATHMANDU: On Wednesday afternoon, rain occurred in various parts of Kathmandu valley after a long time. The rain has brought relief to the residents of Kathmandu Valley near Tribhuvan International Airport and its surrounding areas.

With the rain, air pollution in the Kathmandu Valley is expected to improve significantly, and the residents of Kathmandu, who have been suffering from pollution, have felt relief.

According to meteorologist Govinda Jha from the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, it has rained in places including Kathmandu Airport, Tinkune, Phulchoki, Chandragiri, Bhaktapur’s Sallaghari, Duwakot and others.
