District Administration Office Kavrepalanchok will provide its services without any hindrance from today. Previously, due to the high risk of corona infection, services were being provided on a rotation basis.
As local level rotation system will be removed and daily regular services will be provided from Monday, Assistant Chief District Officer Amardeep Sunar has issued notice to the service recipients to fully comply with the health standards.
Meanwhile, Kavre is now a corona-free district. No one was infected with the virus during the ten-day trial. The COVID-19 Infection Control, Prevention, and Treatment Center (DCMC) in the district said no corona infection was detected in anyone. According to Dr. Purushottam Raj Sedhai, Chief of the District Health Office, the district was liberated from COVID-19 last November. So far, 17,556 people have been infected with COVID-19 in the district and 195 have died.
