The international flight which was interrupted for two hours due to the 'server down' of the immigration department at the Tribhuvan International Airport has resumed operation.
According to the general manager of the airport, Premnath Thakur, international flights are now being operated 'manually'. "Now the flight is being carried out manually", he said, "The immigration office has informed us that there is a problem because all government servers are down."
He says that now there is no problem with the flight and landing of the ship. He informed me that there were some problems with the management of passengers and that the number of passengers at the airport had increased.
International flights were affected when the immigration server was down. A while back, the Indigo Air flight left New Delhi, India, and the Fly Dubai flight had just landed. The plane of Qatar Airways is also preparing to land.
General Manager Thakur said that this kind of problem has arisen in the past as well and said that necessary decisions will be taken in a meeting with Immigration on Sunday to make the airport services agile and efficient. He claimed that today's problem occurred because all the government servers were down.
