Police on Tuesday arrested seven persons allegedly involved in gambling in Kushma Municipality-4, Parbat district.
The arrestees include Hari Bahadur Khatri (42) of Bajhung in Modi Rural Municipality-5 in the district.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of security personnel deployed from Parbat District Police Office (DPO) reached Pabitra Pun's residence at Omshanti Tole and apprehended gamblers and also seized Rs 46,130.
Further investigation into the case is underway after extending 10 days of additional custody from Parbat District Administration Office, informed DPO.
