Several arrested with drugs, including 16kg cannabis

Banke:

Police have arrested three persons from Banke, Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolis-15 on Thursday afternoon along with about 3 kg of Cannabis. Among the arrested are Birendra Hamal, 40, Deepa Budha, 38, and Khima Khatri, 23. A joint team deployed by the Area Police Office, Jamunah, and Drug Control Bureau, Banke, arrested the suspects while they were on their way to India from Nepal.

Kailali:

Aite Jagri, a resident of Lisbeli, Chure-5, Kailali, has been arrested by the police on Thursday afternoon along with 13 kg of Cannabis. A joint team from Far-Western Provincial Police Office, Dhangadhi, District Police Office, Kailali, and Temporary Police Post, Khanidanda found the substance in his house and arrested him.

Dhangadhi:

Similarly, police have arrested Manoj Joshi, 31, of Santoshi Tol of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis-3 on Thursday night along with 3 grams of heroin from Prema Chaudhary's dormitory at Milan Chowk, Pragati Tol. Police on duty at the District Police Office, Kailali arrested Manoj Joshi on the basis of information they had received which stated that he had drugs with him.

Myagdi:

Sandeep Pun, 21, of Chimkhola, Raghuganga-7, Myagdi, was arrested on Wednesday. He was arrested along with the Controlled drugs- 75 ampoules of Diazepam, 75 ampoules of Fenargon, 75 ampoules of Nurfin, and 1 mobile phone. drugs by the joint police from the Drug Control Bureau Branch Office Pokhara and District Police Office Kaski. The district court of Kaski has permitted to proceed with the investigation process for seven more days.

Police are conducting further investigations in this regard.
