Suspected bird strike on Jazira airplane, inspection continues

Birds strike is being suspected on an airplane of Kuwaiti airline Jazira Airways at Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa at 1:45 this morning.

The chief entry officer of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal at Gautam Buddha International Airport said that the airplane has been grounded at the airport.

He said, “The ship has landed safely, there has been a ‘bird strike’ on the ship and although some blood splatter has been seen on the ship, no bird has been found.”

The matter is being investigated. It is said that the airplane company has arranged for the passengers to stay in a hotel. According to the Gautam Buddha International Airport, the number of passengers going to Bhairahawa-Kuwait is 38. The company has started regular flights from the airport on May 16.
