Two held with gun, illegal drugs in Baglung

Police arrested two persons in possession of a gun and illegal drugs in Dhorpatan Municipality of Baglung district, on Tuesday morning

The arrestees have been identified as Dambar Bahadur Pun (38) of Bhagi in Dhorpatan-4.

Pun was arrested in possession of one loaded gun, 2.2kg of Hashish, and 4.3kg of cannabis powder.

Meanwhile, police also arrested Jit Bahadur Pun (34), a resident of the same municipality. He was arrested in possession of 2.5kg of cannabis powder.

Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from the Gandaki Province Police Office in Pokhara raided their house and detained them in possession of a loaded gun and illegal drugs.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed police.
