A senior leader of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former prime minister Jhalanath Khanal has said the time has come for all political forces to be united to solve all sorts of problems facing the country.
Addressing a program on the 75th establishment day of the Nepal Communist Party here Saturday, leader Khanal viewed unity among all political parties could build synergy to cope with difficulties on economic, social, and cultural fronts. The governments at federal and provincial levels would be given final shape after the by-election, which, he believed, would help speed up development works as per people's aspirations.
Similarly, the former prime minister insisted on unity among all leftist and communist forces for the country to reach the socialism envisioned by the constitution. "Socialism is the foundation to end all sorts of discrimination, inequality, and injustice plaguing the country. But, it must be put into practice rather than preaching. The party needs to spread the message of materializing socialism."
