Balen and Sunita Dangol are maintaining the lead

Independent candidate Balendra Shah has secured the lead by getting 43,757 votes. According to the ongoing vote count, Nepali Congress candidate Sirjana Singh has received 25,680 votes.

Similarly, CPN (UML) candidate Keshav Sthapit got 24,578 votes while Sunita Dangol of the same party got 44,705 votes. Rameshwor Shrestha of the CPN (Unified Socialist) got 15,670 votes in the election.

The counting of votes is taking place in the National Assembly House at Pradarshani Marg. Counting of votes in Ward nos. 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 20, 22 and 26 is in progress now. The results of wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 293,0, 31 and 32 have been made public. So far, one lakh 24 thousand 544 votes have been counted in the party.
