Congress Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Surkhet Constituency No 1.
Khadka got 42,607 votes while his nearest rival, CPN-UML candidate Dhruba Kumar Shahi by got 11,619 votes and Dhruv Kumar Shahi got 30,988 votes.
