CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman and candidate of Gorkha constituency no 2 for the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) election, Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday attended five different electoral rallies in the district organized by the left-democratic alliance.

In his speeches, Dahal pledged to blacktop the rural roads in the Gorkha district in the upcoming five years. “The roads are dusty in Gorkha. The roads will be blacktopped in the coming five years,” he said.

Likewise, he asked the activists of the NC and Maoist Centre not to hesitate to vote for the candidates of the two parties as Prachanda supported the NC and the then NC President Girija Prasad Koirala supported the Maoist Centre after signing the Comprehensive Peace Accord (CPA).

During his speeches, leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal said the supporters of the NC and Maoist Centre should be ready to cast votes for the candidates of the ruling alliance for lasting peace and to safeguard the constitution.

He was of the view that regression was defeated once but it is still attempting to rise and added that such forces should be defeated forever.

“In this election, royalists and anti-constitutionalist forces are joining hands together to contest the polls against the left-democratic forces,” Dahal said referring to the alliance of CPN (UML), Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Janata Samajwadi Party.

Similarly, he informed that he was ready to lead the nation if he got the opportunity but was not clamoring for the post of a premiership.
