The Madhes Province government has formed a high level committee to promote good governance by making effective the service delivery and speeding up development works.
A five-member committee has been formed under the coordination of Secretary at governance reform and coordination division of Chief Minister's Office, Noorhari Khatiwada. Undersecretaries at the ministries of finance; industry, forest and tourism; home affairs; and communications are the members.
The first Council of Ministers meeting of the newly formed province government took a decision to this regard on Friday.
The committee has been mandated to furnish report within fifteen days, according to Minister without portfolio, Saroj Yadav.
