Janata Samajwadi Party wins chairmanship of Dewanganj

Janata Samajwadi Party candidate Bechan Prasad Mehta has been elected as the chairman of Dewanganj village municipality of Sunsari district. He has received 6,874 votes. Defeated Nepali Congress candidate Shyamlal Mehta got 6,358 votes.

 Nepali Congress candidate Kumari Vibha Yadav has won for the post of Vice President. The winning candidate got 6,112 votes while the defeated candidate Ashmani Kumari Yadav got 6,097 votes. In Dewanganj, which has seven wards, Jaspa has won in four wards. CPN-UML has won two wards and Nepali Congress has won one ward.
